August: Notice of Violation. September: Notice of Violation. October: Notice of Violation. WHY? Two months and the front gates still do not have a permit or meet City code. WHY? The property owner is responsible to get the permit (HOA board). "Licensed, Bonded, Insured" does not mean responsible. $40,000 and what do we have? These gates must meet City; State; Federal codes. When is that going to happen?

The City clearly requires the property owner (HOA board) to secure all required permits. The contractor can do so at the property owners (HOA board) request. The problem with the front gate goes further then just no permit. The design and the workmanship are also part of the problem. I did not have anything to do with the design; installation; cost or any other factor of the gate. It's hard to believe that with 6 members on the board no one questioned these factors. This community is blaming me for making the issue with the gate public. If the project had been done right from the start there would be no problem to be found by any inspector. You need to look at the source of the problem. Check out the public information.

CellGate updated their app. You can now give permission for the camera and microphone to be used only while using the app. They still require unlimited access to your music and audio apps as well as you photos and videos apps. You only need the camera and microphone to open the gate. The other required permissions are an invasion of privacy.

Yes I have a smart phone. How many apps I have on it is my business. I watch the permissions that I agree to and do not give permissions that are not necessary for the app. Per CellGate the permissions requirements are what the community contracted for. I will not grant access to my phone that is not necessary. This community doesn't need to know what I have on my phone. This community can not legally keep me from my property.

The point is simple. This community was lied to when it was told a permit was not needed. The board was clearly careless by not calling the city to find out. This community has to pay a fine because of this. What was the point? I'm not hateful, I just want to live where the board is at least trying to follow the law.

Thank you to whoever filled in the pothole. It is nise not to have to warn other drivers about it.

The end of June and still no gates. Two weeks sinse the community meeting and no sign of any work being done. There should be a permit for this work. I could not see where one was posted. Parking in the gravel seems to be allowed now, I've seen it twice at the same house. Other problems are still the same. It's almost time to take action as a property owner.
